The Training Plans

The Route starts at Ulster Bank West St, facing towards Narrow West Street. Participants run from West St to Narrow West St and then to Trinity Street and up Mell. The Route then veers to the left onto the old Drogheda / Slane Rd, towards Boyne View housing estate. The Route follows this road under the M1 via the one way tunnel.

It will the reach the N51 turning left returning back down the N51 towards Oldbridge. At Oldbridge it will turn left, over the Boyne River at the Obelisk Bridge and then left again onto the Canal Road. It will run along the Canal Road, past the Battle of the Boyne site and under the Cable Bridge. The race will proceed up and over Rathmullen Hill towards St Oliver’s school. On coming down the Rathmullen Road the race will turn left into Dominic’s Park after the Veterinary clinic. It will follow the gravel path on the left before continuing onto the traditional route at boardwalk, running under the Peace Bridge and turning left at Dominic’s Bridge, up Dominic’s Street and turn right onto West Street. From there to the finish line on West St where it began.
